Unscrew the adjusting pin. Then pull the screw straight out through the front of the cover. You have to pull hard through the thin, frictiond lock washer.

How do you replace the chainsaw tension screw on a STIHL MS250 chainsaw?

My best recommendation is to take it to a certified shop, the tension screw base is located beneath many other adjustments dealing with timing. Tampering with other adjustments may leave your saw non-functional.

How do you replace the tension pulley on a 1995 Chevy Silverado?

You are talking about the tension on your fan belt? If the belt is still on, use your ratchet to insert into the square hole on the tension arm. Use the ratchet as a lever to move the tension are so you can slip the belt off. Then just unscrew the arm, get the new on, screw it in, and replace the belt and you are good to go.

What is b-tension in a bicycle?

B-tension or the B-screw is a screw that adjusts the position of the rear derailleur(RD) when viewed from the side of the bike. Turning the screw in(increasing B-tension) will angle the RD further to the back of the bike and turning the screw out will angle it to the front of the bike. How the RD aligns with the rear hub and its sprockets can influence shifting. Not all RDs have a B-screw though.

What is lug lug?

Lugs are the pieces of hardware on the drum itself where the tension rods screw into. The tension rods screw into the lugs. And the tension rods pull down the drum hoop, which, in turn, will pull down the drum head.

How you increase power on bsa lonestar?

Remove the stock from the receiver by the screw on the underside of the stock. Next, there should be a cap (usually falls off) just below the probe endcap. That endcap covers a hole that fits an Allen screw. That Allen screw adjusts the hammer spring tension. Turning the screw in will increase the tension, thus increasing the power, and turning the screw out will reduce the tension, thus reducing the power.

How do you make your quadarjet four barrel carburetor open faster?

I used to mess with my old quadarjet all the time on my old classic. There is a the secondary butterfly flap right. Underneath towards the secondary is a Allen screw underneath that holds a tension screw you can see on the side. Its a bit tricky to get the tension just right. Just have the Allen wrench handy with the small screw driver you will need....and hold the screw steady as you loosen the Allen screw (which is just the hold down) The flat head screw puts the tension on the secondary, the Allen just holds the tension in place. I found on my 650 quadarjet about 1 or 1 and 1/2 turn on the tension screw was enough......NOBODY likes to BOGGED DOWN!!!!

330 homelite chainsaw which screw is the high and which is the low the longer screw is what?

The longer screw is for the idle speed. On the carburetor you will find little letters cast next to each needle adjusting screw. H is for High, and L is for low. http://store.chainsawr.com/

How do you replace the chainsaw tension screw on a stihl 041 farm boss chainsaw?

First remove the clutch cover to expose the clutch, bar studs and area of the tensioner. Next you need to remove the bar studs. To do this tighten two nuts agains each other on the bar stud, then put a wrench on the lower nut and use it to loosen the whole stud. Repeat for the 2nd bar stud. Sometimes if you are lucky you can use vice grips on the shoulder of the stud to unscrew them, be careful not to damage the threads. After removing the bar studs, the inner bar plate and tensioner assembly lift right out. http://store.chainsawr.com/
