mark where the rotor and the cap are pointing , remove and reinstall and make certain their EXACTLY where they were when you took the distributor out.. Also, while its out DON'T TURN THE ENGINE or you'll have to set the distibutor using the marks in a manual everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the library should have a professional shop manual available in the reference section for FREE to make copies of...read up and fix like a pro!! :) Dave
