Take the wheel off and undo the center nut on the break disc. Then remove the 2 bolts connecting to the bottom of the suspension leg. Pull the leg towards you till it's away from the drive shaft. You may have to undo the anti roll bar to give yourself more movement. Place a bucket under the engine side of the drive shaft and pull the drive shaft towards you. It should come away easily. Line the new one up and shove it in hard so it pops back in. Then put the wheel end back in and bolt everything back together. Don't tighten the center nut up to much. Take it for a quick test drive and if its OK tighten the center nut to specifications.

the usual fault is a dirty or open circuit crankshaft sensor
Replace/clean the connections around the earth wire on the tp of the steering joint - it's a common fault but easily fixed, it's an odd place for the earth to be sat - look around a third of teh way down the joint and you should see a wire, about 2" in length connecting either side of the joint.
