you have to remove the dash panel by removing the four screws holding it in place, then removing the four screws holding the stock stereo in place, unclip the wires and then re-connect them to your new stereo deck that will need a new cradle for. Secure the new deck in the cradle and then secure the cradle to the factory mount, replce the dash panel secure it and your done. (this entire process took me about 30 mins on my 98 grand am) *A word of caution. Make sure the Factory radio does not have a enabled anti theft. If you remove your radio and this is active your whole car could shut down and without the code you are looking a some major dollars for some garage to fix the problem. Run it over to a GM repair shop they won't cahrge you for a quick glance.

You can use the 1990 stereo in your 1992 Accord, but the 1998 will not bolt in the correct way.

I hate to admit I searched this topic before noticing the "hr" and "mn" buttons on the bottom right of the stereo console (1998 Pontiac grand prix...stereo with equalizer built in). just press the buttons to adjust the time (with the stereo turned off).
