Well, i only know how to answer this because i blew the sub in my 2003 suburban. first go to the back of the car and remove the plastic bolting on the drivers side. about 10 inches from the back lift gate theres a cutout for the sub. order a new 8 inch sub from ( there like 40 bucks. and make a easy install. works better than new.goodluck
