HOW DO YOU GET THE LEFT TURN SIGNAL BULB OUT ON A 2000 PONTAIC FIREBIRD
To replace a turn signal switch on a 2003 Pontiac Aztek, also known as a flash relay, the steering column must be removed. The flash relay is located under the turn signal. Remove the mounting hardware and the unit can be taken off.
on the right hand side of the steering column by the column support bracket. It is tucked in behind and you need to feel for the round device.
Look on or around the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side! It is round!

If a signal light stays on, but does not flash on a 1989 Pontiac, there could be a light burned out in the turn signals on the exterior of the vehicle. It is also possible that the flasher unit has gone bad. The flasher unit is under the dash on the driver's side.
My turn signal switch died on my 92 Grand Prix. Rather than attempting the repair, I took it to a shop. The steering column had to be removed to get to the switch.
Pull off panel under steering wheel. You will see two separate flashers. Replace the one on the right.
i had to replace the ignition switch on my 94 sunbird 2 weeks ago...mine has no airbag, and hopefully for this repair yours doesnt either. you have to remove the steering wheel. on the ignition switch there is a bolt that simply screws out. i dont think i had to remove anything else...maybe the turn signal switch, but nothing major. remove the ignition switch, and replace with the new one. line up the bolt holes, and replace bolt. put steering wheel back on, and youre done.
The turn signal relay for the 1995 Pontiac Grand Am is mounted above the fuse block. Look under the dashboard on the driver's side.

Flasher should just "plug in" either next to or inside fuse box located by steering column under dash
Look in the fuse box. It is usually one of the cylinder shaped fuses. Usually metal colored. Pull it out and replace it.
