You almost have to remove the entire top half of the motor. The regulator is connected to the spider housing the fuel injectors right in front. It's a little small piece that's hard to get to. I am afraid this task is not that bad if you are mechanically inclined you can do this, yes there are a lot of plugs and sensors.and a fuel line to take off along with the plentum with a lot of little studs and braketts on the cover to remove ,but if you take your time (and take a couple pictures if it helps of before )and are agile enough to lean over the engine it's a prettty simple job ,just don't drop anything down in the open ports!!!,I am 50 years old and no mechanic,it took me a few hours for dissassembly taking my time looking at everything, and then changed out the whole spider with the upgraded injector system, there is nothing super critical about this ,and it does save you lots of money if you can do it I spent $230 for the ac delco kit and was quoted $900-$1000 to replace this spider injector part, if you know it's just the regulator ,once you have the cover off it's right there and comes of pretty easyly, Again be patient and look at everything ,all the plugs are easy to reconnect,in my case i have more time than money ,so i did this myself, and when i finished checking over everything including fuel leaks and had none,It cranked right up and idled right down and purred like a kitten, and now runs out like it used to do when it was new with no issues !!!
It is built into the alternator, You will have to replace the alternator.
Check fuel pressure, fuel pressure regulator.
The voltage regulator in the alternator is probley weak. Replace the alternator
YES.
I think the fuel pump is the regulator on fuel injected engines. The FPR is located on the driver's side of the engine, it has a vacuum hose going to it and is held on with a spring clamp similar to AC connector clamp. On most 1996 Chevy Tahoes the fuel pressure regulator is actually inside the intake manifold. You must remove the intake manifold to replace it.

You must replace the entire regulator. Here's howhttp://www.ricksfreeautorepairadvice.com/repair-topics/window-power-repair/replace-a-power-window-regulator
Damper? I assuming you are talking about the regulator it is usually on the upper intake connected to the fuel injector assembly.
On my 98 Tahoe under the bumper behind the are where the tag is located you just pull the light assembly out. It has a little pressure clip. replace light and replace assembly the same way.
