How do you replace the fuel pump in a 87 Chevy truck?

best and easiest way is to disconnect rear tail light plugs under rear of truck remove all bolts attaching bed to frame remove screws from fuel filler neck takes about three people one at each fender well and one at the rear of bed pick bed up and slide back so that bed rest on tires and rear bumper then remove fuel pump lock ring and fuel pump then reverse process sounds alot harder than it is once under you'll see what i mean.
