As the fuel pump is in the fuel tank,first you have to pull out the lower back seat,there is a panel near the middle under the seat so remove bolts and you will see another panel.Undo the bolts and remove the two black hoses that go into the panel [ you should have something handy to block the hoses as fuel will pour from them when you take them off the inlets].The fuel pump comes out easily and a new one slides in easily and reverse the process. [ when I did mine I needed to replace the gasket between the pump and the tank but just used a makeagasket which has held with no problems ] wasn't a hard job except the seat did not come out that easily.
