you can either drop the fuel tank from underneath as pump is inside tank and accessible from the top,or you can do it the way i chose to- unbolt the truck bed(easier that you think,8 bolts), get some buddies to help lift it off,and go at it from the top of the tank.
Inside the fuel tank attached to the fuel pump assembly. To replace it you replace the entire fuel pump.
The fuel filter on a 96 stratus 2.4 is located above the fuel tank. You have to drop the tank (at least the back half) to change the filter.

tHE FUEL PUMP IS LOCATED IN FRON T LOWER HALF OF ENGINE PASSENDER SIDE IF IT HAS A CARBURATOR. iF IT IS FUEL INJECTED FUEL PUMP IS LOCATED IN THE FUEL TANK.
This fuel pressure regulator is a component part of the SFI (sequential fuel injection) assembly, sometimes referred to as "spider". It resides inside of the air intake plenum and is accessed by removing the upper half of the intake.
Had same problem with my John Deere 335. It was because there was dirt in gas tank and fuel filter was half clogged. Need to replace fuel filter.
The fuel filter is on the firewall of the drivers side under the hood. It is on the bottom half of the firewall.
The Thermostat is sitting inside the hole where u remove the water pump oddly enough -- it looks like u have to rip half the engine off to remove and replace the sucker - im here looking on how to remove and replace it without tearing the entire engine apart
It should be along the Frame rail on the driver side about half way.

The knock sensor is located on the firewall side of the engine. Exactly in the center of the engine and its held on by an 10 mm bolt. But to replace it you must pull the engine half way out. I have the same problem with my 95 Altima. Its to far away to get it from the bottom, and blocked by a lot of stuff from the topside. If you happen to get it loose, the bolt hits a metal water pipe, so the sensor is still cinnected to the engine.
Unplug your battery for a half hour.
