I have a 97' Ford aspire that i am currently working on,from interior to engine head gasket, valve job and re-installation.The fuel pump is an electric type on fuel injected models,and manual on carburated models.If yours is fuel injected,you will need to remove the rear seat,(4 bolts) and fold the cargo carpeting towards the front to reveal access plate. Be sure to disconnect battery before doing any work on fuel system!! It is always smart to invest the 15-18 dollars for a repair manual that u can get from any auto parts store.This will help locating engine or sensor parts and usually have a good troubleshooting guide and tips for making life easier when repairing your own vehicle on a limited budget,tools,and workspace.
