How do you replace the headlamp bulb on a 2000 Nissan Altima SE on the passenger side?
when you lift the hood. look on the back of the headlight assembly. find the wires going to the light and twist it. it might take a bit of a turn and its hard to get your hand in you might have to loosen the washer fluid resovoir.
I did this not too long ago in my 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5SE....It's actually not that hard. On the driver's side, you have to remove the factory air intake (just remove the hoses and it pops right out). Then, just unscrew the whole rear casing for the headlight (takes about a 1/4 turn). Remove clip, replace bulb, re-assemble. Voila! FYI - on the passenger side, same thing, but you have to remove the washer fluid…
It would be nice to know the year of your Nissan Altima. For Nissan 2000 Altima GXE the air filter is located right next to the battery. Just push off the 4 clips that hold the top of the filter housing and pull the top off just enough to remove/replace the air filter. Close it and and pull the clips back on.
