The headlight adjustment screws on a 2001 Nissan Altima are located on the sides and back of the headlight assembly. They allow for small changes to be made to the position of the beams.

Hi there! When I searched out this question, I was confused on the answers I got. Some said to drop the front bumper and others were tight on your hands. When I looked into quotes on my 2003 Altima headlights, I found out that there was a recall issue on the headlight assembly and they were going out too fast. I got them both replaced for no charge. Yep the bulb socket should twist out and then you can repalce the bulb. If you want to replace the whole headlinght assembly then I D.K.
Check the headlight fuses located in the main fuse box. On a 2002 Nissan Altima the main fuse box is found inside the engine compartment.

It is located on the backside of the engine. Go to youtube and type in how to replace camshaft sensor on 2005 Nissan altima and it will show where it is and how to replace it, that is how I did my one.
when you lift the hood. look on the back of the headlight assembly. find the wires going to the light and twist it. it might take a bit of a turn and its hard to get your hand in you might have to loosen the washer fluid resovoir.
