how do you connect the hyraulic master cylinder to the clutch slave cylinder on a 2000 chevy S10 pickup 2.2 4.cylinder
There is NO adjustment, You must replace the clutch set to bring the pedal back to the right position. You also need to make sure the clutch slave cylinder/ master cylinder is good before replacing clutch assy.
look at the right side of the firewall.
Its hydraulic ,you cant, check your slave cylinder to see if its leaking, its located thru a rubber cover on side of transmission,if leaking replace and bleed, also check clutch master cylinder,if not leaking, then you might need a new clutch kit.
You will need to remove the transmission to replace the clutch slave.
sledge hammer last I knew the master cylinder was for the brakes, but the above answer may be adequate for that question.
on driver side firewall, theirs a clutch master cylinder. use dot 3 brake fluid.
The clutch slave cylinder , for a hydraulic clutch , is inside the manual transmission bellhousing
They don't use a cable; it's a hydraulic assembly with a master cylinder, line, tube, and slave.
your clutch may be slipping ,first check and see if your clutch slave cylinder is leaking, check your clutch master cylinder to see if your fluid level is ok.if level is ok and no leaking slave cylinder, then you probaly need a new cluch.
The clutch pedal is connected to the master cylinder with a push rod. Loosen the locking nut to allow access to the rod. This rod can then be lengthened or shortened depending on the adjustment needed.
