Very simple just remove the plastic cover on the inside of the mirro then remove the 3 ten mm nuts and unplug the connector pull out the mirror and your done
Highly doubtful because the circuit has to be there to power up the heater in the mirror.
mirror CavalierI answered this on another post. 'Power mirror on Cavalier'.
Usually, to replace any power mirror, you must first remove the inside door panel. From there you should have access to the rear of the mirror. There has to be some screws (usually 3 screws) holding the mirror in place. Also follow the wires from the mirror to where it is connected and disconnect.
This mirror is the driver's side mirror, power and heated. I need to know how to access the mounting bolts or studs to replace the mirror. Please give detailed insturctions with pics if possible. Thank you
The side mirror on my 2004 alero was knocked off. Its the passenger side mirror. How do you remove the mirror because the power cord attached to the mirror is still attached.
Rather than fixing it yourself, you should take it to a professional.
start by removing the inner panel on the door.now disconnect the power wire plug. there should be three 10mm nuts holding the mirror on. unbolt the nuts and remove mirror. replace in same fashion. very simple procedure.
from what i have seen most of the saturns are made ideally the same. The I have knocked off a mirror on my 95 sc2 i owned a few years ago Power or no power mirror you should use a flat head screw driver and gently pry off the cover in the front corner closest to the mirror. The mirror is bolted. Use a ratchet the right size and take it off. When your done put it back on . its easy as pie. I had power on mine. Its a 5 minute job or less. Good Luck.
To replace the power steering rack on a Saturn Ion, You must first dissmantle the current steering rack by accessing the main hood, and from there you can screw the new steering rack into place
See link below
It is bolted on from the inside of the door.
