You must disconnect the wires at the junction box, connect a string to the old wire, remove the screw holding the light in the niche, lift the old light from the pool and pull the old wire out of the conduit. The string that has now been pulled through the conduit and you tie it to the new light wire. You pull the new wire back through the conduit, reconnect it at the junction box whie leaving enought wire at the light to be able to have the light sitting on the deck. You then coil that excess wire around the back of the light assembly and place it back into the niche, securing it with the single screw that you first removed.
