If you are lucky like me you spray a lot of WD40 on the hub and use wrenches to work it back and forth until you feel the spring action. otherwise, good luck . use PB Buster it is better than WD 40 It is made for freeing rusted bolts and screws
you have to push down on the tension pulley, then you would get slack in the belt
Noisy and chirpping soundS on a 1994 Crysler Lebaron could be as a result of the tensioner pulley and can be replaced by replacing the belt.
The bolt holding the pulley to the tensioner arm is left hand thread. The nut holding the tensioner to the engine is right hand thread.
You have to unscrew the tensioner bolt and remove the serpentine belt first, then change the pulley and replace the belt. You have to unscrew the tensioner bolt and remove the serpentine belt first, then change the pulley and replace the belt.
You can tighten the serpentine belt on your 2005 Chrysler 300 by tightening the tensioner pulley. Push the tensioner pulley to the right until the serpentine belt is tight.
You will need to loosen the tensioner pulley. When the tensioner pulley is loose the air conditioning compressor belt will become loose. Put the new belt on and tighten the tensioner pulley.
Put the serpentine belt around the pulleys on your 2001 Chrysler LHS. Tighten the serpentine belt by pushing the tensioner pulley to the left. Tighten down the tensioner pulley and the serpentine belt will be tight.
Replace tentioner pully on 2.8 multiport
You will need to loosen the alternator belt with the tensioner pulley. When the tensioner pulley is loose the alternator belt will become loose. Put the new alternator belt on and tighten the tensioner pulley.
It should have an tensioner pulley on it. A spring loaded arm that puts pressure against the belt as it travels. You may need to replace the pulley and spring if it is failing and allowing the belt to slip off.
You can replace the transmission belt, on a Cub Cadet 1042, by loosening the tensioner pulley. Once the tensioner pulley is loose the belt will easily come off.
what confuses most is the way the belt loops around the tensioner, the belt goes around the steering pump and crankshaft pulley, under the idler pulley, under the belt tensioner pulley and finally with the tensioner compressed around the alternator. the idler and belt tensioner wheels both get the flat backside of the belt. use your imagination. if you have too much slack, which is the route that will use up the most belt?? the 94' and 95' Chrysler Lebaron are fairly the same in serpentine belt order, although you may find a variation or two. The diagram is as thus... http://darkada.com/pages/serpentine.html Sorry about the link, but wikianswers does not support images
