well, do you want step by step? or just the short path?

tools needed:

"floor" rolling lift jack : this is the safest of the designs

cross-style tire lug nut wrench

standard pliers

"needle-nose" pliers

Go to Parts Store and ask for the brake shoes for your car.

a clear and level place to work

Patience

If you never did this before or have a hard remembering what you seen : a Digital Camera or camera Phone.

If you do not have this technology : use 2 jacks to lift car rear and remove both tires and brake drums : just remember that the parts must be opposite and not exact as seen on the other side otherwise you will have to do it again.

next to the wheel is a lift point : usually a cut-out on the pinch of the body weld for lifting

break the nuts loose one turn : lift car.

remove wheel : the brake drum may be held by clips on the studs if this was never done before. use the pliers to putt off the clips: you will not be putting them back on so do not be gentle.

The brake drum slides off towards you.

Take a picture of the internals under the drum: you will be putting everything back to look like that.

disconnect one side at a time, replacing each part as you remove the old one.

It should take you about an hour if you keep everything together.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Short Path :

take it to a tire shop or Dealer and they will do it for you.
