The rear turn lamp on my 1999 Ford E350 is a multi-function bulb, number 3357; it functions as tail light, brake light, and turn lamp. Some functions may work after others burn out. If the turn lamp has failed, your turn signal will blink more rapidly than normal.
The bulb is accessible by removing the rear tail light assembly with a torx-head (star-head) screwdriver; screws are accessible from the outside of the vehicle. Remove all four screws. Twist the middle lamp socket out of the assembly. Carefully pull the bulb from the socket and replace it with a new bulb. Twist the lamp socket back into the assembly, replace the assembly in the frame of the vehicle, and replace screws.
