To replace a turn signal on a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee prop the hood open. Locate the headlight housing and the turn signal will be located next to it. Find the bulb and remove it from the housing. Replace the bulb.
Typically, it is a light bulb. Turn that indicator on and check to see if either the front or back light is not working. Some newer cars have turn lights on the front side as well. Compare to the working side to find all the lights that are used. Good luck

If it is a front bulb, sometimes you can get to the bulb and remove it by turning it counterclockwise. If it is the rear you have to remove the housing and then remove the bulb. Remove the (4) 7mm Hex screws that fasten the wheel well liner. Pull the liner back as needed. Then reach in and remove the bulb by twisting the connector to release the connector and bulb from the turn signal housing. Pull the connector back towards you and replace the bulb.
The Chilton manual says to remove the chrome headlamp bezel. It looks like two screws on the side and two more hidden behind the grill just below the turn signal portion of the bezel. The turn signal lamp and side marker lamp are located in the bezel.
It is necessary to state whether it is a 4X4 or a 4X2
