To the best of my memory you have the brake line bracket mounted on it then the stud in the houseing and it slips out
Speed senor in rear differential failed. for mine, the speed sensor broke off limited-slip gear box and broke sensor in a million pieces. Had to replace my differential.
The vehicle speed sensor is on the transmission. The ABS speed sensor is on the differential.
It is mounted to the top of the rear differential.
it is attached to the rear differential. only sensor on it. reads the gear inside.
Speed sensor is on the rear differential.
The speed sensor in my 1998 Durango is located in the rear differential. Also has something to do with your speedometer reading ? Yes, the speedometer signal comes through the ABS computer from the rear axle speed sensor.
speed sensor is located on the rear side and top of differential it is held in place with one bolt disconnect electric pigtail remove bolt, pull sensor out insert new sensor replace bolt reconnect pigtail
There are 2 speed sensors, check the one on the rear differential also.
there is no cable only speed sensor on trans
The left front speed sensor is electric and does not have a cable. The sensor is accessed by removing the brake rotor.
The wheel speed sensor (WSS) is located on top of the rear differential on a 1999 Dodge 2500 4X4. The sensor interacts with a tone ring sandwiched behind the differential ring gear. As the differential ring gear rotates the tone ring sends signals through the wheel speed sensor; the signal is converted to vehicle speed by the Power-train Computer Module and ultimately displayed on the drivers speedometer. The WSS is also used to signal the anti-lock braking system computer under severe braking conditions.
the speed sensor is located on top of the differential housin to replace this, remove wire harness fro sensor remove securing bolt from sensor pull old sensor out put new sensor in replace and tighten bolt hook up wire harness easy job huh
