How do you replace the water pump on a 1996 Dodge Stratus 24 dohc?

get a service manuel ..... the water pump is behind and run by the timing belt .... if you are not experianced at setting up the timing marks on a DOHC motor get help or take it to someone who is .........

Remove the cap on the valve cover and pour it in there.

Follow the top radator hose to where it connects to the motor. On my 97 stratus you follow the top hose which leads to peice where the radiator cap turns on, take out the 2 bolts and underneath is your thermostat.

Unhook the wires on the starter, replace the fuse, turn the ingnition key on as if you were going to start the car. If the fuse does not blow, it is your starter. I just had this problem with a 1996 Dodge Stratus. I replaced the stater and it now works.

no the 1996 -1998 is the same then the 2000-2004 is the same so it will not fit

If two injectors have failed it is more than likely that the other injectors could fail. I would replace all the injectors, or at least inspect them for possible failure
