Make sure it's the pump that's defective first because it's in a fun spot. The pump and tank is located in the drivers side fender area between the outer fender and the frame rail. You will have to remove drivers front tire and inner fender liner, approxt 6 small bolts and 2 plastic plugs.Cut the head of the plugs and replace as the metal they go into is flimsy and will bend if removal is tried.Once inner liner is removed you will see your tank and about half way up on the tank your pump.A simple twist and lift should get pump out.Careful as you are playing with plastic/fibre material which is easily broken.Oh yes and also the air intake is also jammed in that area too,to add to your fun:-)Ypu may want to remove tank and pump with the nut on top hanger so you can see the pump clearly and the way it removes.Do not damage your wires to pump or hoses and tank .
