The DOHC water pump is very different from the more traditional designs.
It's more of a stand-alone unit mounted to the engine. Remove the unit and then take the front off which incorporates the impeller into that.
It's more of a variation of the water pump on the 2.5 DOHC in the Contour/Mystique, than conventional pumps. (that's my point of reference anyways).
