If your pretty good with tools you can do it yourself, the hardest part is removing the fan & shroud together, after that it's pretty much remove & replace you will need a water pump & gasket, a new thermostat housing gasket it's small with about 5 different sides to it & some 50/50 mix, & I would also replace the ac & drive belt while you already have all this stuff torn off it' only another $25 at your loccal autozone, (plug in for my 10% discount yesterday!) Beacuse you will have to remove one of the belts anyway to remove the pump. Haynes has not put out a repair manual for this book so you can use the 3 series 92-97 for some repairs as it pretty much the same is tear off & replace.. So quick run down, drain fluid, take off fan & shroud together fan first, remove bottle on shroud, take off drive belt, ( 4 ) 10 mm screws for drive belt pulley, (4) 10mm nuts for water pump, I do believe (3) 10 mm & (2) 13 mm to remove thermostat housing & flat head screw driver to remove the ( 2) hose, repair & replace!!
