Remove the bolts that hold the distributor cap onto the distributor. Once this is off the rotor can be reached and replaced on a 1994 Acura Integra.

The cam shaft position sensor is located under the distributor cap. You can replace this easily by undoing the screws holding on the distributor cap, remove and replace the sensor, then just replace the distributor cap.
No. The coil is the piece at the other end of the wire that comes out of the center of the distributor cap.
it is distributorless no cap to replace has coil packs
there is no distributor on a 98 rav. therefore no cap or rotor. replace the plugs and wires and the tuneup is done
how do you remove and replace the distributor cap on a 97 chevy cavalier?. I can not get to it.
The easiest way to find it is to set #1 piston at TDC and see where the rotor is pointing, it should be pointing to number 1 terminal on the distributor cap.
I had the same problem. Check all of your spark plugs, if they smell like gas they are burned out. You should replace your spark plugs and check your distibutor, not the distributor cap. If that turns out to be the problem replace the distributor, distributor cap, and the rotor. If you turn the key to start the car, but nothing happpens, the starter's bad. If the car turns over but doesn't fire up, then the igniter/coil in the distributor might have gone bad.
Replace the screws.
