Check the SI for instructions on using the TECH-2 and SPS to reprogram the HVAC module. Battery replacement should NOT require doing this, however. Replacing the battery will, however, require recalibration of the HVAC doors if you screw it up by completely discontinuing supply of 12V.
Luckily, it's easy to recalibrate because the GM guys know what kind of idiots they have to dea shiat happens. Anyway, disconnect the battery, with the key in your pocket. WEait ten minutes, ne less. Ten reconnect the battery, turn the key to ON (be sure you know what ON means) and wait another two minutes, then shut it off, start the engine, and set the clock, radio, and compass.
There should not be any reprogramming necessary for that unit just drive and the computer will use pre stored maps and functions.
Try replacing the A/C Blower relay

no need to change the copper tube if the capacity of the unit is same.
no, unless u have to remove the compressor unit. The clutch can be replaced with out removing the compressor if you have room to do it.
It could be the electrical unit in the car or just that the battery is low that's messing with the ac.
Digital display thermostat battery(s) need replacing

remove your battery cable for about 5 min or so, then replace it, then turn truck on and turn radio ac heater electric windows...headlights etc..run all elect functions.......computer then will reprogram.....it should work.........
You "could" run a 120V 5A window AC unit off a 12V deep cell battery but, assuming 100% efficiency (something you can never get), you would need an inverter or motor-generator set and 50A out of the battery to run, and maybe 5 or 10 times that to start.
t is probable that your wires are not properly grounded. Check the wiring and ensure that they are properly grounded. Antolin Andrew Marks.
No, the battery is DC not AC.
