Take the serial number off the radio and the vin number of the vehicle to a dealership and they will be able to get your code for any individual radio.
It is very easy to reset the check engine light on a 2002 Volkswagen Cabrio. The negative battery cable can be taken off for one minute and replaced to reset the light.
To reset the computer on a 1999 Volkswagen Cabrio, you can disconnect the car's battery. Start by turning off the ignition and removing the negative battery terminal for about 15 minutes. Reconnect the terminal, which will reset the ECU. After reconnecting, you may need to drive the vehicle for a short distance to allow the computer to recalibrate.

AnsOn erugh- the cabrio radio reset. The code is in your sound system manual (part of the larger manual). if you bought your car used, its likely the owner removed the card w/ the code. I've had my code memorized for years. I think you can take your car to VW to get the whole system reconfigured for a new security code if you can't find it. Sorry- and good luck. If the display says "SAFE" reset the radio display as follows: On the radio panel hold the "seek" button down by pushing it on the right. Let go, enter the radio code using the radio station buttons. Hold the "seek" button down again by pushing it to the right. The radio will come back on.
To reset the radio from 'safe mode' on a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle, you need to enter the radio code. If the code starts with a zero and your radio does not have a zero button, you can enter the code by using the other numeric buttons. For instance, if your code is 0123, you would press the buttons corresponding to 1, 2, and 3 in sequence. If necessary, consult your vehicle's manual for specific instructions or consider seeking assistance from a dealership if you're unsure.
To reset the radio code in a VW Beta 3 radio, first, turn on the radio and wait for the display to show "SAFE." Then, turn off the ignition and press the "TP" and "RDS" buttons simultaneously while turning the ignition back on. After that, you can enter the correct radio code using the preset buttons. If you don't have the code, you may need to consult your vehicle's manual or contact a Volkswagen dealer for assistance.
There is nothing to reset except the radio. Insert the 5 digit radio code to reset the radio and then reset the clock and presets for stations.
You can reset the factory stereo on a 1992 Volkswagen Transporter TDI van by disconnecting the battery for several seconds. Once you plug the battery back in, the radio will ask for a code. The code is essential in order to gain access to radio functions again. The radio code can be found in the owners manual. If the manual is not available, you can obtain the radio code from a dealership.
i don't even know when this question was asked, but you should have a card that came with your car (maybe in your handbook?) that has a code. you use your radio station buttons until you have that code entered in your digital readout area and then your radio will work.
