turn the truck off if the radio stays on then open the dorr. Shut the dorr and turn the ignition to acc ( Like your turning it on but stopping befire it starts up and push the brake 3 times holding for a 3 count each time then turn it off open the door if you had to the first time). Then start it up the light should be off if its not you will need to take it to the dealer
You could also just leave the battery disconnected over night NEW ANSWER: YOU BEST NOT UNHOOK THE BATTERY, YOU WILL NEED AN OBD2 ENGINE SCANNER TO TURN IT OFF, AND IF YOU DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM THAT MADE IT COME ON IN THE FIRST PLACE THEN IT WILL JUST COME BACK ON AGAIN. YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE EMISSION SYSTEM OR THE TRANSMISSION ITSELF THATS WHY IT CAME ON. SCAN ENGINE TO SEE WHAT IS WRONG. ADVANCE AUTO PARTS WILL DO IT FOR FREE. NEUTZ.
