should be a breaker inside trunk, drivers side. usually a small door in trunk liner
the breaker is actually an inertia switch and is located on the passengerside of the trunk, it is a red button down neer the floor in a little black box.
On a 1997 Lincoln Continental : The ELECTRIC fuel pump is INSIDE the fuel tank ( it is installed through an access hole in the top of the tank )
It could be the fuel pump inertia switch needs to be reset. It is located in the trunk on the drivers side of the car.
On a 2000 Lincoln Continental : The fuel pump inertia switch ( shut off switch ) is located behind a panel , to the left of the drivers seat , on the " B " pillar / latch pillar
It will run, but fuel economy and engine performance will suffer.
Most have a reset or just bypass it with jumper wires.
