Relays get replaced. It's either good or bad. However, your vehicle may be equipped with an inertia switch. Most people call it a fuel cut off switch that is a safety component and designed to cut off the fuel pump in case of a collision. Most cars will have a sticker under the hood or in the trunk stating that your vehicle has this switch. If it does, and its tripped, it will have a button on top that is in the up position. Reset it by pushing in down.
There is no reset. If it is not working replace it.

no, but there is a relay or fuse for the fuel pump you can pull. there really is no way to "reset" a fuel pump. if it stops working it needs to be replaced, assuming the pump is the cause of the failure
GM vehicles do not have a fuel pump inertia switch. There is nothing to reset. Check the fuse and fuel pump relay.
Relay, yes. Reset switch, no.Relay, yes. Reset switch, no.
where is the fuel reset for 1999 mercury sable
It is in the luggage compartment, what used to be the trunk, behind the upholstery. It is not a relay, it is a safety RESET. If you hit something, or maybe a hard bump or pothole, it will shut the fuel pump off. You need to push the red reset button to turn it back on. It should be on the left-hand side; my Taurus' was.
No, it shouldn't have anything to do with the starter. A bad fuel relay will stop the fuel pump from working.
where is the fuel pump reset button or relay switch located on a gmc sierra 2003 and how do i get to it?
There is no reset switch on that vehicle, you probably have a bad fuel pump.
that means both the relay and fuel pump are accuratelly working.
There is no fuel pump reset button on a 1996 Lexus. However, there is an EFI relay and the Circuit opening relay that can be reset. These relays can be found inside connector of the engine compartment.
