If you are talking about the code you need to unlock your stereo, it's in the owners manuel. If not, you will need to to call the dealership where you got it. Their automotive department should be able to find it for you.
Take the serial number off the radio and the vin number of the vehicle to a dealership and they will be able to get your code for any individual radio.
I just push the > on the search button on my 1999 cabrio
AnsOn erugh- the cabrio radio reset. The code is in your sound system manual (part of the larger manual). if you bought your car used, its likely the owner removed the card w/ the code. I've had my code memorized for years. I think you can take your car to VW to get the whole system reconfigured for a new security code if you can't find it. Sorry- and good luck. If the display says "SAFE" reset the radio display as follows: On the radio panel hold the "seek" button down by pushing it on the right. Let go, enter the radio code using the radio station buttons. Hold the "seek" button down again by pushing it to the right. The radio will come back on.
it should be in the book under radio the page with a card code
YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO RESET IT, BUT YOU CAN DETERMINE THE ORIGINAL RESET CODE FOR THAT RADIO FROM YOUR DEALER .
Howdo i reset my radio security code ml 500 2002
unless you have the 4 digit number you cant...a visit to Audi is the only way
The 1999 Volkswagon Cabrio OBD 2 port is under dash at left side
go to dealer ask them 4 code pass
it's on your manual. Different for every vehicle.
Call the dealership and give them your VIN number and they should be able to give you the radio code.
