I found that fuse 25 had blown. (20 amp) (It controls the C/L) So I replaced it and the CL worked again, however the deadlocking and alarm didn't. The N/S rear door didn't open and was still deadlocked. After a short trip to Halfords to get some replacement fuses, the fuse blew again. So I guessed the CL mechanism was shot or there was a fault in the wiring leading to the rear door. So booked it in to a garage on Monday (after the fuse had blown twice more over the weekend). They found that the CL mechanism for that door had a fault in it, and was causing the fuse to blow. They ordered a replacement from Ford, fitted it and the car seems to be working fine now.
it is very unlikely. i have never seen a vw golf sdi from 2000 onwards without the central locking as standard. i have one the same model and bought it new, it was a standard feature on this model at least for the golf's we got in malta. js
I'd say its still called a television! Televisions came out for a long time without remotes. Now you can get universal remotes to suit all TVs.
You can turn on magnavox converter boxes without remotes by going to the central control box and then pressing the reset button to accomodate the power button.
To lock the front door on a Renault Espace without using the key, locate the central locking button on the dashboard and press it. Renault has been producing the Espace since 1984.
why do the breaks lock?
It's basically the smartlock function. it basically immobilises your car so without the key, you can't start the car. Also I believe it has something to do with central locking.
It is impossible to become permanently invincible without the use of a cheating device.

there may be a few buttons on the box 30 years ago you didnt need remotes goto the store and look at universal remotes check the little booklet to see if it will handle that brand box.
Cannot find a wiring diagram for door locks.Suggest removing a door panel and looking at the multi-plug on the central locking servo motor. You may not need to know this however, as the central locking control unit is in the right sill panel behind the trim. The remote will probably connect to this. Regarding the ignition switch, acc stands for accessory(ies)and is the first click after "off".This controls things you may want without the engine on,such as radio, cigar lighter etc. Some manufacturers mark the keyhole bezel I,II,start, and some as acc, ign, start."first turn of the key" is usually a way of describing how easy a car may start up.
Use soldering to permanently connect electrical contacts, and also to permanently join copper water pipes without leaks (if you do it right!!)
