Easiest way to reset the Check Engine Light, is to go to a car parts store(easiest), or even the dealership(wait in line, might charge you, etc.), Use the OBD2 reader, make sure your vehicle is turned off completely, hook up the OBD2 reader, turn your key to ignition, but DO NOT start it. The OBD2 reader has a power on button, turn it on, let the diagnosis complete itself, and there is an option of "resetting" the Check Engine Light, or "Erase".
