You take the disconnected battery cables and touch them together for ten seconds thus makeing your computer reset. then hook them back onto the battery + to + and - to - . it will take about five miles of driveing to let the computer re assess itself then you should be good to go.! good luck

Most likely, the batteries have died and need to be replaced/recharged.
It will need to be recharged and if it will not accept a charge it will need to be replaced.

To my knowledge, Cadillac will not be producing the Cadillac DTS for the year 2012. The Cadillac DTS will be replaced for the 2012 year with the Cadillac XTS. Hope this helps!
