ok if it is anything like the 89 Lincoln mark 7 all your have to do is open the trunk. Take the spare tire and coverings off that side. The look for a white button behind a stuckture bracing. it is attached to it.

Im not sure if its the same as the 92. but the 1992 is in the trunk behind the coveing on the driver side. should be around the gas cap area. It's a white mecanism tha has a button on the top. to reset it juss push the button in.
