You need to get the original code for the pad and get your manuel. Or get a copy from Ford Online(free) that shows the steps to program. If you do not have the factory code it is in the back panel behind the back seat on the computer square box with the wiring harness attached to it. Above the tire jack. You might need to pull back the plastic to see it with a flash light. It is a 7 number code that is in large print.

Then you have the wrong code...that can happen if you buy a pre-owned Trac and the previous owner personalizes the code. You can reset your factory set code, directions are in your owner's manual.
