how do you reset the check engine light on a 2005 Toyota tundra
How do you reset the "check engine soon" light on a 2005 Ford Explorer? I usually disconnect the battery.. for couple of minutes and reconnect the same. But I advise you to have this checked with the ford dealers or anyone with a computer console as the above is just a temporary solution. Its better to spend a couple of $ resolving a problem then $$$$ repenting over it !!!!
As far as I know , once the tire is inflated to the correct pressure " range " and you drive the vehicle , after 1 minute the warning will reset itself
How do i reset a service engine light on a 2005 gmc c6500 cat engine
how do you reset the oil light on a 2006 sts to 100%?
When you take your car in for an oil change, have the technicians there do the reset for you. (they should automatically do that for you, but you may have to ask them....to make sure they do it) Valvoline does it as part of their service.
go to your Status button in the car and scroll to oil change option and hold the reset button down for 3 seconds. That simple!
Turn the key to the 'on' position (do not start the truck).Wait for the change oil light to come on.Tap the gas pedal 5 times.Move key to off position, move key back to on position. The change oil light should be reset.
Turn the key to on, do not start, push the gas pedal to the floor three times, the light should flash on the dash indicating the reset. Turn the key off. You should be reset.
turn key to on 'NOT STARTING ENGINE' press gas pedal to floor 3 times within 5 seconds will reset oil change message
When you see the Change Oil light on, push and hold the button just like you would to reset the trip counter
