How do you reset check engine light for the 2009 Chevy trail blazer?
The Chevrolet Blazer does not have a fuel pump reset button.
== == The repair below is a theft password relearn procedure. It may get your car to start for a while, but does not repair the problem. The most common cause for this problem is the PASSLOCK ignition cylinder. It may need to be replace, then re-learned again.- TechJK -------------------------------------- Turn the key to the on position for about 30mins. After the first 10 minutes the security light starts to blink. Then it turns solid again after another 10 minutes. The last 10 minutes is to reset the passlock system (you can leave it on for longer to make sure you reset it). Now take the key out and try to start the car. I had to do this when my car was not starting; the fuel pump was off because of my passlock system.
Chevrolet does not have reset switches.
There is none.
There is no fuel reset (inertia switch) button on that blazer or any GM for that matter. That is a Ford thing.
The ABS light on a 95 S10 Blazer has to be reset by a mechanic or the dealer. Unplugging the battery on the vehicle will not reset the ABS light.
Turn the engine two seconds then leave the key in the run position for exactly ten minutes...the anti-theft security light should go from blinking to solid at the ten minute mark. Immediatly run the engine and the Passlock is reset. Good Luck!!
