Press the milage reset button in the instrument cluster about 10 seconds with the key to on position, until "service" appears, then change selection with a sigle pushuntil "engine oil" appears. Keep pushing the "reset " ask yes? and that's all. Next oil change after 15000 mi appears on the idrive "service"menu.Beware, not to reset another function, there is no way to restore a reseted item.

Sorry to say this, but it might be serious. I had the same thing happen to me with my computer. I'm not a computer whiz, but it is possible to save the hard drive of a computer (don't ask me how). Anyways, I now have a new computer....wish you better luck.
