It is a combination of button presses using the time and odometer reset buttons. I need to do my own but don't know the sequence. There is a publication with them in, which most decent service stations/garages should have. This process is for a 2001 and newer. (w203) This is the process for the older ones The car Key must put into the second Position. (Not starting Position, but all Lights on) Then you must double push the little "0" Button. (You have only 2 Seconds to do it)
Then take the Key in Position 0.
Then Push the little "0" Button and hold him.
Then again take the Key on Position 2 with holded "0"-Button.
After ca. 10 seconds, it makes a Beep and the Service Meter is resetet.
Most likely the same as the 2000 E430 which is as follows: turn key to position 1 press up or down arrow til service indicator appears press and hold (R) button for approx 2 seconds display will show "do you want to reset service interval?" press (R) button again to reset Hope that works for you.
The reset oil indicator on a 2000 BMW 323i warns the driver that it is time to service the engine. It is automatically set to trigger every 3,000 miles and can be reset once the oil has been changed.
Key on, close doors. Press "step" until "0 miles to service" is displayed. Press and hold "reset".

I believe I read somewhere of a suggestion that the answer can be found in the owner's manual. I would try and find out by looking it up in a repair manual at the library, buying a repair manual, or having it reset by the person who services the vehicle (if they have the diagnostic hardware to read and reset the onboard computer). Hope this helps!
I have a 2000. I just got an oil change today and I had to reset the service warning. I went to the screen that read 0 miles to service and pressed the reset button. This set the service schedule back to my preset interval of 3000 miles. Hope this helps.
How does one reset service engine light on 2000 Nissan Quest Thanks Bill
hi i want to know my car year 2000 Mercedes ML 320 radio code.please
A helpful fellow from BenzWorld gave this answer for your year and model: •Turn key to position 2, engine off. •Scroll the information menu using the left side steering wheel buttons to the "Service A/B exceeded by xxx miles" indicator, NOT to the odometer display •Press and hold the (R) trip odometer reset button at the left of the dash for about 4 seconds until a "Do you want to reset service interval" display appears •Release the button •Press and hold the (R) button again until the Service indicator display indicates its been reset. The display changed to "A service due in 10,000 miles." Most descriptions I've seen say to start at the odometer display. At least on my 2000, you must start at the service indicator display. Makes sense, actually. Good luck with this as I have seen these processes fail time and time again. The best way to get this done, in my humble opinion, is to drive into the service bay of your friendly neighborhood Benz dealer and ask them to do it for you.

Mercedes Benz E240 2000 reset service indicator (15000 miles) First you need to turn the key to #2 position, Second, you need to push the "0" button on the odometer panel twice, And then, you turn the key to #0 position means switch off (do not pull the key out) Fourth, push "0" button at the odometer panel again, whilst holding the "0" button, turn the key to #2 position and count till 14 seconds and the screen will displays 15000 miles to service something like that..I've tried so many times and its works thank god for the luck… Repeat this step for 4 times
If you're talking about a Mercedes Benz, I don't think you can reset the radio and nav system.
To reset a T4 Service indicator. With ign off, press and hold trip mtr butto. Switch ign on and release the button. If only "insp"is in the display, turn minutes knob to right on the clock, "service ----" should now appear in the display. Turn off ign and service is reset. If "insp and Oil" are shown in the display, get to insp by toggling the trip mtr button. follow above procedure, but don't yet turn off the ign, press the trip mtr button again and "oil" should appear, again turn the minutes knob to the right and "service----" will appear. Turn ign off and service is reset. Works for me on my 2000 T4.
no reset switch in this system
That is a REALLY good question. And it gets asked a lot. One of the most popular questions on the net. There are lots of different ways to do this. Unfortunately only one of the ways works for your year-model-engine as far as I can determine. I recommend that you never have your car serviced by someone who can't reset the service light. If they can't do that do you really want them changing your oil? Second, I have had this problem when my guy 'forgot' to reset the light. What did I do? I waited a while and then went to the dealer to ask them to reset the light. They will do it for you. Just look down at your feet and make circles with one foot.
You can try disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes. You can also go to any Autozone if you have one locally and they will reset it for you for free. or, you can simply turn your key to the II position on the ignition and your indicator lights should be on. then while still in position II push your trip set button and hold till service light starts blinking, now you have reset your service light for another 7,500 miles.
In order to get your SRS Service Airbag light reset, You have to go to the Volvo dealership.
Usally U turn the key on without starting & pump the gas pedal 3 times with in 30 seconds. ??? I'm not sure about that answer. I usually press the button on the overhead computer where the service interval required shows zero, then hold the RESET button until it goes back to 3,000.

I just reset my indicator last night, so I know this works. - at least on my car. It's also a 2000 E320: 1. Place the ignition key in position #2. That's the one just befor the starter engages. (My owners manual said position #1, but that didn't work.) 2. Bring up the odometer/mileage reading on the screen, and then scroll until you get the FSS display. (Flexible Service Schedule) That's the one that shows how many miles until the next servicing. 3. Press the "R" (reset button) on the instrument panel for about 2 seconds and release. The display should change to ask you if you want to reset the reading. 4. Press and HOLD the "R" button again until the mileage resets. Note: Sometimes it won't work if any of the doors are open. Make sure all doors are closed.
From Haynes manual: * Switch off the ignition, then press and hold down the trip reset button at the bottom of the speedo. * Switch on the ignition and release the button, and note that the display will read 'Service'. * Press down the reset button for approximately 10 seconds and the display 'Service' will be erased. According to Haynes, this will automatically reset the display to a 'distance-time' interval (i.e. 10,000 miles/15,000 km). To reset to the variable/longlife interval, you have to go to a VW dealer, as they have a special instrument for this.
Under the hood on the drivers side, there is a main electrical box. There should be a reset botton there.
