Hold down the set button when it is in the normal mode (where it shows the time and date) (this button should be labeled, if not then try the upper left button). Then wait a little while until it comes up saying "TIME", at this point press the "next" button, which is normally what is labeled (not on the screen) as "Mode". You will then get to the screen with the time and date. Continue pressing the "next"/"mode" button until you get to the day, then set the day with the "start/spilt"/"+" and the "stop/reset"/"-" button. Once that is done press mode again and you get to the date which you set the same way as the day. When done press the "done"/"set" button. If you tamagotchi has been reset and has been an egg for over five minutes, check this. Is the egg pulsating? (Moving in and out) Yes? Have you reset the time? To reset the time, press B (I think... try pressing A as well) and then the options will come up; Download or reset. Confirm reset, then change the time and date. After that the egg should hatch within 2 minutes. Yes? I am not sure what could've happened otherwise. I'm sorry about that. You can try resetting it a number of times, but always remember to set the date and time! Thanks, elidee8

Access your time and date change function in the COMAND function part of your stereo. When you turn on the stereo there will be a setting button on the bottom of the screen. Scroll down to the setting and enter on it. You will see time and date, scroll over to it and click on it. Change your time and date if necessary and you can even change whether you want it shown in military time or standard time.
