First you have to hit the button to "Relearn Tire Positions" with the vehicle running and in park. When you hit the button, the horn will beep twice, and the display will read "Relearning Tire Positions". You then have to get out of the vehicle and go to the left front tire and remove the air valve and let air out of the tire for at least 5 seconds. When you are done, after a couple of seconds, the horn will beep once. Then you go to the right front tire and repeat the procedure, then the left rear tire, then the right rear tire. They must be done in this order! The horn should beep once after every wheel you do, and then when you are done, the horn should beep twice again to let you know you've done it right. I think once you start the procedure, it gives you so many minutes to complete it (like five minutes, I think). Good luck! Do the above with ignition on or engine running. Once you have release air pressure from each wheel and heard the double beep at the right rear wheel refill tires to 35psi or 240kp. The display will recalibrate. At this point turn the igntion off and restart engine. The light will now be out.

My 2008 chevy tahoe service tire monitor lights came on, and I jst put air in them not so long ago...is it safe to still drive it?
On a 2004 you just turn off the radio and hold down the display button until you hear a beep and a menu comes up. Press the seek button until you get to tire monitor. Reset tire monitor and turn radio back on. Probably same for a 2006.
Put the required air in the tire and drive it, it will reset itself unless there is something wrong with the TPMS (Tire Pressure Moniter System).
disconnect your battery and then reconnect. The light should reset and turn off.
look at your instrument panel and you will see a little black knob, push it in and hold it for 4 seconds, then push again till you get to the tire monitor. hope this helps.
