The BIOS of a Toshiba P100-160 notebook can be reset used using a system BIOS flash utility which can be obtained from Toshiba service centers. It can also be done by shorting the terminals of the computer's CMOS battery.
If referring to the BIOS password, you will need to contact a computer shop and/or Toshiba to find out how to drain the BIOS/CMOS chip to reset it.

Presumably by size you mean capacity? The BIOS determines how much hard drive memory your computer can address so if you are upgrading your hard drive I suggest you check Toshiba's website and download the latest BIOS for your machine.

I don't know, but Toshiba Portege M300 from a box can't read it. I buy USB card reader and not use internal SD reader for years... Surprisingly, after complex update (latest BIOS, latest drivers from Toshiba site) it begin read SDHC! I glad see what my old laptop support new technology after simple software update!
