You would have to use 100LL as the aviation fuel, and mix with 2 stroke oil as directed by the manufacturer. If you used JET-A, your bike may run, but it will run terribly. Note that the "LL" in 100LL stands for "Low Lead" and most modern 2-cycles call for un-leaded fuel only. You may not have any problems in the short term, but lead will build up from prolonged use. Your better using CAM-2 or Sunoco Race Fuels = High octane, without the all the lead. You could also try a diluted mix of high octane Auto gas and 100LL AV fuel.

you have to have a carburettor to mix the air and fuel correctly in order for the engine to run

Why turbo diesel engine emit black smoke?

I was told by my friend who has a power stroke that it's unburnt fuel. Since they run off of fuel pressure.

What happens if you run a two stroke engine with no two stroke oil?

You freeze up the engine

You forgot the oil for your 2 stroke boat engine Will that ruin the engine?

Yes definitely! Do Not Run it!! If there is no oil in your fuel it will seize the engine. Because the oil in your gas is the only oil that lubricates your motor.

What is the fuel required by helicopter to run?

Some need aviation petrol and some need jet fuel.

What is the difference between two and four stroke dirt bikes?

A 2-stroke dirtbike will be powered by a 2-stroke engine and a 4-stroke dirtbike will be powered by a 4-stroke engine. For the same power, the 2-stroke will be a lighter bike. For the same weight, the 4-stroke will be a weaker/slower bike. The 2-stroke is likely to use more fuel and make more noise. The 4-stroke will run cleaner and quieter.

What fuel does the military use for tanks?

Diesel fuel is used in most tanks, but newer tanks can run on multiple fuels. The latest innovation in fuel utilization is seen in the M1-Abrams which employs a GE jet engine to power the machine and can run on a variety of fuels from Aviation gasoline to kerosene.

Is it bad to run a 2 stroke engine out of gas?

Running a 2 stroke engine out of gas can damage the engine. The fuel level in the carburetor drops because there isn't enough gas flowing into the carb from the tank. As the fuel in the carb drops, less gas will be fed to the cylinder. Most 2-strokes will run fine or even better under lean conditions, until the excess heat melts a hole in the piston.

What amount of power required to make the 2 stroke petrol engine to 4 stroke diesel engine?

you cant turn a 2 stroke into a four stroke. and i don't think you can run diesel in a 2 stroke

How many pistons are in a 4 stroke internal combustion engine?

A four stroke internal combustion engine can have any number of pistons, from one to one million. They usually have even numbers in order to maintain engine stability. The "four stroke internal combustion" signifies the type of engine. There are two stroke internal combustion engines, mostly one or two cylinder engines used in lawn mowers. An internal combustion engine is one that ignites an air fuel mixture within itself and uses the resulting explosion for power. There are external combustion engines, which are usually powered by steam heated in a separate container and pumped into the engine. Four stoke engine utilize a four step (or stroke) process in order to run. The steps are the intake stroke, where the engine breaths in air and fuel, the compression stroke, where it squeezes the air and fuel, the power stroke, where it ignites the air fuel mixture, and finally the exhaust stroke, where it pushes the remains of the ignition out. See the attached link for a graphic description of how two and four stoke engines work.

Will your car run on diesel fuel?

only if it has a diesel engine. A gasoline engine will not run properly on diesel fuel.

What is the difference between a two stroke dirtbike and a four stroke?

A 4-stroke will run quieter and cleaner. It will rev lower. For a given engine power it'll be heavier and bigger. For a given engine power it'll use less fuel. The engine will need more parts and be more complicated 4-strokes generally have better torque at low revs. A 2-stroke will run noisier and pollute more, It will rev higher, for a given engine power it'll be smaller and lighter. For a given engine power it'll use more fuel. The engine will consist of fewer parts, and be a simpler design. 2-strokes generally have less torque at low revs but do better at high revs.
