to preserve animal bones you can cook them (boiling water), you can use beatles and to finish it off after they are clean you can use a mix of half laquer and half laquer thinner or half whit glue, half water.
There are actually companies that sepcialize in cleaning animal bones, but you can also leave them in an exposed place in the sun where animals will not carry them off and the bugs and sun will clean and bleach them for you. However, I personally, would be careful when handling animal bones due to the bacteria and germs which could be present.
You want to remove any excess tissue, hide, material and dust from the bones
first. (If there is a lot of "gunk" left on it, you might want to consider letting dermestid beetles
or ants remove it for you.)
Next, put the bone
in a container of water (no chemicals) somewhere warm where the smell won't bother you. When the water gets really yucky and smelly (a few days to a week), dump it out an replace it with new water. Keep doing this until the water stops getting yucky. What happens is bacteria start growing in the water and "clean" the bone for you. When the water stays clear, the bacteria have finished.
To sterilize the bone and get the "bleached-white" look - soak it in hydrogen peroxide until it is at the whiteness you want. (Real bleach or other harsh chemicals will ruin your bone). You can also put it in the sun to bleach it, but beware, some animals (like mice) may run off with your bone and the sun generally takes longer.
Just an extra word of caution - many states have protected species laws that prohibit you from having any piece of those animals (feathers, bones, etc). Make sure the skeleton doesn't belong to such an animal or you could get into a lot of trouble.
Bleach em
why do temperatures to sanitize differ
Well, almost every animal has bones. But animals with backbones are called vertebrates.
it has no bones ya idot
No
That is strictly dependent on the type of animal.WHAT IS THE ANIMAL?!?!Different animals have different numbers of bones...
In China animal bones are used to make medicine, if it works it is another matter.
some animal structures are is bones and paws. Bones for moving and paws for hunting for prey.
Depends on how they move... depending on if they have wings or legs. Usually things with bones are faster but there are insects that are faster than boned animal. Maybe its because the bones weigh down the animal more so they can't go as fast or as long
yess it does eat your bones and also turnes ur skin pinkk(:
It depends on if there is any flesh on the animal bones. You should place the animal bones in a ziplock bag with bleach in them for a couple weeks to get rid of any chance of bacteria and hopefully then they won't smell.
it depends on what animal you are talking about
