Press the F5 key. Then press click Special on the dialog box that opens. You will then be able to select types of data and formulas to find and be able to select them.
Use the Text To Columns option in the Data menu. If you have some data in a column that is comma separated you can select it and with the Text To Columns option you can spread it out to the neighbouring columns, breaking the data at the commas.
You are able to sort linked data within any Excel document. If an error does occur check each columns formula so there Is agreement.
Select Custom Sort and add as many sort levels as you like.
One method would be to use sqlplus, write a select statement to extract the data that you want to import, save it to a file or copy it to the clipboard, then paste the data (or open the file that you saved it to) in Excel and use the "Text to Columns" feature to break each line of data into columns.

Columns and rows can be swapped by transposing them. You can copy a row of cells and using Paste Special and the Transpose option the data can be put into columns. You can do the same with data in columns and transpose them into rows. There is also a Transpose function in Excel.

Ideally have the names in the first column of your data. Then select the column that has the names in it and the other columns. The active cell should be in the first column. Then go up to "Data" on the toolbar or the Sort and Filter options. You can select to sort alphabetically. If the Names are not in the first column you can use the Advanced sort option and choose it as the column you want to sort on when all of the columns of data are selected.
It will put the fields in Access into columns in Excel, and records in Access will be in rows in Excel. Data will be converted to appropriate data types.
