When you are in the selling game there's an old saying. Most of the people you meet you will sell because that's the type of person you are. Confident, bold and most of all you believe in what you're selling so for the most part, no matter what you are selling, you will probably do well in sales because some people just can't say no.
For the people who say no. This is a different game, like a game of bluff Poker. If for example you feel that you can sell this person you highlight the benefits of what you are trying to sell and hopefully that will be enough to convince the person who persists in saying no. If that doesn't work you can always offer to include that person on any promotions your company may be working on and make sure that person gets something from you in writing. That will make them feel more comfortable with you and a trust will be formed. If however you still haven't made a sale because the person involved still says no. Like the game of poker. It's time to fold your cards and move on. Why waste an hour trying to sell something to someone who has no stuck to their lips, when right next to that person is a perspective customer who may say yes.
