combination of timing marks and take out spark plug on cyl #1 and put a rag in spark plug hole and when it pops out as you turn engine over by hand you will be on compression stroke ,then just align crankshaft timing marks.
Top dead center on an engine is defined as when the piston is farthest from the crankshaft. Bottom dead center is when the piston is closest to the crankshaft on the engine.
It's on top of the compressor, dead center of the engine compartment. Black cap,
The distance from Top Dead Center to Bottom Dead Center of piston movement.
Measure the distance a piston travels from bottom dead center to top dead center.

Displacement is a unit of measurement for engines. It refers to the amount of air that the cylinders move from top dead center to bottom dead center.
take spark plug out of #1 cylinder, turn engine by hand clockwise, have a rag or someone put there finger into spark plug hole and when you feel air pressure coming out of hole you are on the compression stroke. Then look at your camshaft, crankshaft timing marks as you come up on TDC , they should all line up.
Top Dead Center (TDC) is a position and not a "breakable" part. Please re-ask question more specifically.
