The best answer I can offer is that you get yourself a shop manual for repair. It will explain all that you need to know. You have the pulse generators, ign coils, shift sensor, and wiring, and ign. control unit, vacuum advance, so much, or sometimes it might just be easier to take the bike to a Honda shop and have them check the timing for say 1 hour's labor.
Do it right...You will need a shop manual. Go to goldwingdocs.com or Steve Saunders Gold wing facts. Do not put this together or attempt it without first knowing what you are doing there is a sequence that involves timing marks. Bot following this procedure will cause damage to your engine.
How to set timing on 1984 Honda 200s 3wheeler
No
The best way would be to pick up a manual. Just too many things to do.
Check out my bio page for help on setting your timing.
To set the timing on a 1984 Chevy Celebrity with the V6 engine: 1. Disconnect the HEI connector so the engine will run in closed loop. 2. Start the engine and use an inductive timing light to check the timing. It should be at 100 before top dead center 3. If the timing is off loosen the clamp at the base of the distributor and turn the distributor so that the timing is set. 4. When you have set the timing tighten the clamp and verify that the timing did not change. If it stayed the same reconnect the HEI connector.
ground the diagnostic connector under the dash , set the timing , then unplug connector
The Goldwing has a set of carburetors. They need to be synchronized with each other with a set of vacuum gauges or the engine will never run properly.
idont know
The same way you set the timing of any Z24 engine. The vehicle it is in makes no difference. Do you know how to use a timing gun.
what timing are you trying to set? the cam timing or the ignition timing?
consult chilton's manual for accurate specs
More than likely a carb problem or your timing is set too low.
